POLL time: question about 11x03 McGee's lost badge?
Dear #NCIS fans, got a SPOILERY question for you about tonight's episode 11x03:
If you've read the episode description and/or spoilers, you know that in this episode McGee somehow "loses" (misplaces, can't find) his NCIS badge and ID.
When you read about this spoiler, did you think about what could have happened? How could he have lost them? What could have happened and does he find them quickly after discovering thy are lost, or does it take a long time? Did you have any thoughts about what might have happened? What the writers wanted to tell with this (assuming it's not just a fun bit, and there's actually a bigger reason than just bad memory behind this)
Did it ever enter your mind that someone might have purposely stolen HIS credentials? I mean... one of his girlfriends stole his mail & credit card info once, and used it. And one of his neighbours stole his identity, and made fun purchases with it. So... is this happening again?
Did it ever occur to you that maybe this time Delilah, his current girlfriend, took his things? Or did this thought never enter your mind? Would it be a total surprise to you if she, even with her super high security clearance, and all, needs Tim's badge/ID for entering the NCIS. That she, like all previous McGee's dates, is out to get him. Would it surprise you in a big way that once again they've written it like this. Or would it come as a total twist that you didn't expect because it's been done too many times before, and you didn't see it coming now?
What I am actually trying to ask is - would regular viewers be surprised if it turned out Delilah took McGee's badge/ID (to access NCIS and do bad things, or whatever), because of whatever reasons - most likely cause she's the "bad guy"? Or is it just a theory McAbby fans are toying with (expecting or fearing, depending on the person)? Would this be a TWIST in your opinion?
My guess is that regular viewers would be surprised if it would be Dee who took them. And if it would turn out that Tim was just a tool she used to complete her mission. Sure, people might entertain the thought because of what's happened with past girlfriends, but I don't think most viewers actually expect this. Which is why I think it's be a great plot twist IF it would be what actually happens. Which it is ... not...I think.
THANK YOU.
