So disappointed about the season finale of NCIS. Until the news of Emily Wickersham leaving the show I was more or less happy with the final, like it was a good cliffhanger and I thought that maybe I would have something more clear at the beginning of the next season regarding ellie and nick. But no, they decided that they won't be in a relationship in the worst possible way, making Ellie go complete against herself. First, If you don't like the ship, thats ok. I get it, I don't really ship TIVA but I was sad when Ziva left and I felt for Tony because over the show you can see they have something going on,but at least, even when they were saying their goodbyes it was something nice they knew they love each other but couldn't be . But here, with Ellick? Awful. They hinted that there was something going on with the touches, smiles, and all. For Nick it seems that they hinted he felt something -maybe not love at the very beginning but at least admiration and then adoration- Remember Charlie and Luis? Or when Mr.Dinozzo was sad because his girlfriend broke with him and he asked Nick "How about Eleonor? . We all can remember at least one episode of each season (15,16,17 and 18) where you could think "Hey, I think he likes her". For Ellie I think it was later, with the death of her almost fiancé Qasim (I loved that ship too) and all; I think for her it took some time to start to feel something. In this season we had so much Ellick moments and all look like they were going to be a couple or at least have a honest conversation about what they want but no. They made Ellie break Nick's heart like for no reason at all. Would the Ellie they first show us, the one who thought her husband was having some problems at work because she couldnt even imagine him cheating on her? Who was so broken that she run back home to think what her next step should be? The same Ellie who was devastated about her almost fiancé who was killed before she could say yes? You want me to think that Ellie would misleading Nick on purpose and then just change her mind and leave without tell him something? Because she wasn´t going to tell him what she was planning. If not for Nick going to the cabin, we wouldn't even have this half-ass of ending. besides, going rouge for what? For who? I bet that if Odette didn't plant that evidence the NSA would have never know they had a leak 10years ago (That is something else ain't not buying). The show made it clear that she always go back home when she needs to relax and clear her mind so... Where is the Ellie who loves her family more than anything else? Who loves her brothers and parents? Do you think THAT Ellie would left the country without telling them what is she doing? Where is she going and with who? and for "too long"? There was no way she would do that. Not to her family and certainly not to NCIS. Tim was a brother to her and he was so heartbroken when he couldn't do anything to help her. He deserves better from her to. The same with Kasie and Jimmy who I think they would have known through Nick or Tim about Ellie's leaving for good.
I feel SO disappointed because this. Even if they (ellie and nick) decided that they will be better as friends/coworkers I would have respect it 100%. Is the mistreatment of her arc that gets me and make me scared of what they could do to the others. Ellie had such beautful growth and to be crushed in less than a hour? So sad
well okay, Special Agent Eleanor Bishop, that was a very Ziva David move and I AM HERE FOR IT
Rule 12: Never Date A Coworker
Maybe ncis doesn’t let the team partner up (romantically) because they’re writing by the rules??? You have to admit, the Gibbs Rules are very much ingrained in the minds of his agents, it may be the reason team romance is so strained/dysfunctional over here.
The only career and family characters are Tim and Jimmy and neither Breena or Delilah worked at NCIS.
It would explain why Tim/Abby didn’t happen or Tony/Ziva or Ellie/Nick or Gibbs/Jack or Gibbs/Jenny (or even Tony/Kate). And why Densi happened; ncisla doesn’t have the Rules.
I mean ‘rule 51: Sometimes you’re wrong’ is also a thing but, the writers don’t know that until after they messed up and you can argue tiva got the exception.
Even the scene between nick and Ellie was weird! All the lines felt short and stunted and it was just like badly written???
I’m so disappointed over this episode
Gibbs in the water post explosion had very much a deja vu of a scene thing so I figured he’d be fine…
Have any of y’all seen the Bourne trilogy??
My guess he’s going off grid to chase the cereal killer with Marice Wallace, (for some fun spouse bonding!!) and it’ll connect to McGees case next season.
But what a waste of a fine boat…
I’m sorry, was that an Ellick kiss???!!!!!
