I know it’s supposedly just her “teasing” tony but Ziva canonically confirmed that she’s bisexual in her first two episodes on the show and continues to tease it throughout the series I don’t understand how people doubt it when the show started in 2003. It’s not like they could comfortably announce without just hinting at the fact that they had an openly queer character. Context and historical timing is extremely important for queer people when trying to understand our representation. Obviously we deserved better. But it wasn’t reasonable at the time. And Ziva will always be Ziva mf David. I can’t think of a better woman to have represented our community in even a subtle way at the time that she did. Thank you cote de Pablo.
