8, 17 & 26!!

8. NCT

I love them. Ok so actually I didn’t get into NCT until fairly late??? Like I didn’t get into NCT until Boss came out, before that I’d only really casually listened to them and had only heard title tracks and wasn’t blown away (booboothefooloverhere) but then Boss came out and I was like- oh ok these boys are serious. And then ironically (and this has happened to me many a times) I re-listened to their older stuff again and was like ‘ok actually all this stuff is really good’ but idk my perceptions of older songs tend to change a huge amount once I love a group???? And now I love them with all of my heart. Dream is my favourite permanent (kinda?kinda?) unit, though I would say my bias is Johnny because he’s just lovely and perfect and underrated and I love himmmmmmm.

17. Seventeen

I was also kinda late to Seventeen. egejhrgeherheher. Ok but there is reasons for this! But I won’t get into it here. Basically I love Seventeen so much because they’re the best dancers in the industry, there’s just no contest, even though I like other groups discography more (SHINee have the best discography, in my opinion) there’s just no denying that Seventeen have such a great group chemistry and that’s reflected so well in how they work as a team and within their units. Their performances are always spectacular, HIT really slapped me in the face tbh, it had been a while since a stage had shook me so hard like urgggggg wow yes, Seventeen are dance kings, no one else can compete with them on that.

26. The Boyz

I love The Boyz! So I loved them since debut, I actually found out about them during a very difficult time, I’d just lost a close relative and I think they also debuted just a little while after Jonghyun so I was really in need of something positive when I found Flower Snack. I watched it literally about ten times, just finished it and then started over, and it made me so happy and made me laugh so much during a difficult time so they have a really special place in my heart. One thing I will say is I think they could do a slightly better job of utilising all of their members, there tends to be a bit of a pattern with which members get a lot of focus and they are all such talented boys, when given the opportunity they all shine through (No Air is my fave era partly because Eric actually got decent lines and he’s so talented ejrgbehrge but then his lines disappeared again) so yeah, I adore them all but their company should do more to give them equal moments to shine ^^ Seventeen manage it, so The Boyz can do it too!

I think you're literally like a character from a cute animation film who spends her time outdoors watching the ducklings cross the river just before buying some nice-looking loaf of bread and some fruit and you most definitely have a beautiful voice like I'm so sure about that!! The sanne in my mind also likes to smell flowers and is really sweet

(14) What Books Are You Reading?

le chercheur d’or (j. m. g. le clézio) // one of the three books for my french course

le barbier de séville (beaumarchais) // one of the three books for my french course

la porte étroite (andré gide) // one of the three books for my french course

afblijven (carry slee) // a book in dutch i got to revise my dutch when i have some time

dzienniki japońskie (piotr milewski) // a birthday gift from my aunt, a book about a polish man traveling through japan without much money or anything, really. not a genre i like, but i’m reading it because it’s a gift

białe kruki, hvite raven (christer mjåset) // i bought this two years ago during the summer, when i was kind of obsessed with medical thrillers, and i read.. maybe a third of it? it got kind of frustrating after a few chapters so i’m waiting a bit before going back to it (it’d be white ravens in english, but i have no idea if there’s an english translation of it)

szkoła zabójców, the killing school (brandon webb) // i bought it during this summer to pass time, along with two other books (now finished), but i still haven’t gotten around to reading it, heh.. i’m two or three chapters in!!

millennium i: the girl with the dragon tattoo (stieg larsson) // i started this a couple of years ago, then stopped because of school work and because i got it from a library back then. now that i have my own copy, i’m taking my sweet time with it!!

the crimson petal and the white (michel faber) // my mum absolutely loved this book and she insisted that i had to read it (and even bought me an extremely pretty copy of it) so here i am!! it’s kind of a harder read though, the lexis is kinda confusing sometimes and the font is kind of small, so it’s hard to read in my frees at school (which is why i haven’t finished it yet)

siddhartha (hermann hesse) // similarly to my journey with demian, i started this pretty excited, but found out reading it was much harder than expected (maybe because i always start those books at the worst time.. ever.. like during my exams), currently on hiatus

call me by your name (andré aciman) // read about half of it! it was nice! but i decided to read something that’d catch my eye for longer than this!! so currently on hiatus, but i’ll finish it sooner or later
