“Awww, scared?” He teased as he quickly got up to turn the lights on. The two loved horror films, but perhaps watching one at 3am in the dark wasn’t the best idea. After turning the light on, Cao quickly went back to the sitting area and sat right against the Icelandic boy, his eyes glancing over at the door as if he was watching out for something.
He wasn’t.
❝I’m not,❞ he says as a matter of factly as he shifts to find a more comfortable position. When he does, he finds himself relaxing, despite the ominous-looking screen displaying the common beginnings of all horror films: eerie music, dark tones of cinematography, etc. He raises an eyebrow at his ‘partner in crime‘ (because really, who watches horror films on the Devil’s hour?).
❝Are you?❞ He asks almost challengingly with a teasing upward quirk of lips.
