This is probably a massive long shot but is anyone that follows me / sees this going on the National Citizen Service (if you don’t know what it is, it’s this thing in the summer in the UK). I’m going on the 6th July from Hampshire to Wales, so if you’re the same say hiiiii!

Hello, Sorry for taking so long to reply bc I'm a shit head shitty person. Personally, I didn't enjoy the NCS. I don't really know why I signed up, I just know I didn't like it. I didn't make any particularly great friends, I didn't have the best time of my life, I was just forced to sleep on an uncomfortable bed in Devon, sharing with two girls I despised, but that's just me. Because of this, I could not honestly recommend it to anyone. That's not to say it wasn't good for everyone, bc I know people who absolutely loved it. I just wasn't one of them.A part of me wants to tell you to give it a go, that it's only two weeks of your life and you may end up enjoying it. I want to tell you that if it really gets that bad, they can set you up with transport home, but it's highly unlikely that it will one to this. If you don't like the first week, don't go back.However, I also feel you shouldn't do it if you're not 100% sure. Like I said, I don't think it's anything spectacular, and so I would say think carefully about it. My ask is always open, anon or otherwise.Have a great day too, Hun 😘😘
Seeing adverts for NCS on TV is so nice like it's literally as amazing as they make it out to be, they're not even exaggerating, when I see the adverts it's like aw that's was what you spent your summer doing it was cute huh
