in so much seriousness, mark is the literal reason i became interested in kpop as a genre and korean culture as a whole, in 2022. my life has changed so much in the last four years since then, but it’s all brought so much happiness during this time that this feels like the end of an era not only for mark, but for me (and other nctzens/markfs) too.

i also can’t imagine being 26 (which i literally am), having only ever had one insane job for more than TEN YEARS. when i think about it through this lens, i logically think he made a realistic and mature decision.

I’m excited for mark’s future, whether it be public or private, and not at all disappointed or upset at mark…but I’m certainly feeling sad right now. I’m also hopeful that soon it will fade and i will listen to his music and feel happy memories only.
