        wanda had not meant to go searching for him — though perhaps her feet had been pointing in that direction before she had known enough to register. she remembered there being whispers of him when she was back wit hydra. she would hear outside her cell about the one they called soldier. when she had defected with pietro, she had even wondered if he would come for them, like he had so many others. and now he was here, with them, in the flesh. and she hadn’t been seeking him out, but she thought that perhaps she knew more than most what it felt like to be an experiment out in the real world and she couldn’t shake her feelings of wanting to help with whatever she could. 

       still, standing at the door, she did feel rather silly...
