Finn would be lying if he said he hadn’t been at least a little in love with Rey from the moment he saw her. And they had only grown closer from there. He smiled once she took his hand, squeezing hers just as quickly. It felt good.

"I'm more than capable of getting things for myself," she snapped, rolling her eyes at Rey. This wasn't the first time they spent some time together, but it was the first time since she and Ben had started talking about returning to Naboo. He told her to stay behind, to stay on her ship and that he would surprise her when their perfect home was found. It frustrated her, of course, and she made a point of telling him, but she knew better than to argue with him. Which didn't mean she couldn't argue with Rey. Yen wasn't certain why she was there or why she felt the need to help. Had she given the impression that she was incapable of handling things? For a long moment she thought about reminding Rey which one of them was more experienced with the force. "Did Ben set you up to do this? Help me while he was gone?"

"Do you now," came his reply, flickering his eyes over towards the girl. He still found it strange that she was working with the First Order instead of against them. For the longest time they'd been after her because of what she could bring to the First Order. Now that they had her? He wasn't certain what the plans for her will be. Ren seemed to be enthralled with the pilot that had returned from his time in the Resistance and that meant it was up to him to deal with the girl. And in all honesty, Hux had no idea what to do with her. Snoke hadn't told him his plans and he knew that he wouldn't be privy to such things. Maybe it was time to drag Ren away from his own work to help him sort out what they were going to do with her. At least then they would be on the same page. "And just why do you like it."

"Why this time?" It wasn't the first time she'd heard those words from Rey. In all honesty, it felt like she heard those words at least once a week and each time there was a new reason. Most of the time it felt like she'd gotten into trouble with someone in her life and she decided then and there that she was going to hell. Sometimes it was actually amusing to find out the latest incident. This time, though, she can't help but think that there was more to this than the usual. That and she was currently working on a project that was due the next morning if she wanted to be considered. Steph normally didn't mind working under pressure. But this project could be good for her, could help give her more work and was something she wasn't about to lose out on because of her friend. "Or do I want to know what happened."
