“You did good, Maggie. I can’t tell you just how PROUD I am. How everyone is.” The gratitude to the leader of Hilltop is endless and he couldn’t imagine anyone better. Heart swells with love and respect for the woman who has risked EVERYTHING. A hand reaches for hers and grasps it tightly. “Everyone adores you, and we are so grateful to have you. You’re doing an amazing job.”

“It’s okay. It’s okay I got you.” His arms are wrapped tight around her for comfort and safety. They’ve all seen too much. LOST too much, but no one more than Maggie. It’s no wonder she’s finally breaking down, but he’s just glad she isn’t alone. Letting her go he leans back and places his hand on her cheeks “You know I can’t promise anything and I won’t, but I don’t PLAN on going anywhere anytime soon. I’m here.” There’s been a blossoming relationship between the pair for awhile and all he wants is for her to be okay.
