She was worried, and he knew that she would be. She was Kara, that’s what she did. She cared so much about everyone around her, she noticed when even the smallest thing was wrong. That’s what made her a hero, she was always looking for ways to help people, even when she wasn’t wearing her cape. But he wasn’t used to that kind of care, he was used to being able to slide under the radar. Especially now that he was out helping James every night.
He knew that she didn’t support it, that she was worried something like this would happen. He could have locked the door to the van, that would have helped prevent the whole thing. But James didn’t have a key and he wasn’t always hands free when the other needed to get into the van. He figured he would have to make a spare. The guy only managed to get one punch in, and although Winn was sure that he would be sporting another black eye, he was just grateful that it wasn’t much worse.
Once again Kara had managed to save him from something that he knew could have ended differently. He managed to wiggle out of a lecture, and instead went home and grabbed ice from his freezer and put on The Office as he sat on his couch. But he knew that when he got to work the next morning he was going to hear it from her, and that’s where he ended up now. “I know you’re worried Kara, but it was literally just one punch. I’m okay, it’ll heal.”

you can yessss !! it’s literally the same process as making gifs with a few minor differences - i can show you if you want - but unless you want to spend ages adjusting like 100+ icons at the one time the process can be highly inaccurate, for example:

who said i love you first? kara. she had just confessed to erin that she was supergirl and wanted to let her know how she felt if anything were to happen.
who laughs when the other trips? kara. purely because kara trips all the time, so to erin, it’s cute because her love is clumsy but for kara, it’s a whole other world seeing erin trip so she laughs.
who pays the bills? erin and kara. they both split the bills evenly down the middle, then once they get a joint bank account, it comes out of there.
which one makes a bigger deal around the holidays? they both do in their own way. kara because she wants to make erin happy and show her what holidays are like in the danvers family and erin because she never did get to celebrate holidays and wanted to make the most of what she can with kara.
who’s more clumsy? kara, she is the biggest clutz.
who checks their daily horoscope? neither, kara’s not superstitious and erin doesn’t have the time.
who sings louder in the car? depending on the song, they both do. if it’s something they both know, then they sing louder and louder as it gets to the chorus, not caring what anyone else things because it’s just them.
who leaves the cap off the toothpaste? erin, normally because she is in a rush to get out of the house to get to the precinct or to a crime scene.
who is more up to date in pop culture? kara. working in the industry, she needs to be in the know
who insists on going to see the newest movies? erin, with constantly having a stressful day at work, she always likes suggesting going to a movie with her love to calm down and destress.
who cries when the abused animal commercials come on? they both do.
who’s the lighter sleeper? erin. since growing up in a house where random men would sleepover, erin always slept lightly, never knowing what was going to happen.
who believes in ghosts? neither are superstitious.
who does the grocery shopping? both do, but erin also finds herself pushing the trolley, normally with kara in it.
who updates their facebook status more often? erin, she likes to be able to show the world that she loves someone and that someone loves her.

hit after hit after hit, sara’s fists kept hitting the bag in front of her. she was visiting her girlfriend at the deo and if she were completely honest, she was in a mood and a half. and, for some reason, her fists hitting the bag were making her feel better..somewhat at least. but it probably didn’t help that her fists weren’t covered..and that they were currently bleeding because of how hard she was hitting, but it made her feel better at least. letting out a soft sigh, sara stopped hitting the bag for a moment to speak, not turning around but speaking “i know you’re there kar.”

Looking over the rim of her very real glasses at her sister she just shook her head. "And you should know as my sister that after someone works they are hungry, especially if that someone is one of us and its not like I can go flying off to get pizza whenever I want. I'm just saying you suck in your timing is all. I'm starving!"
