“Uh, okay... well, I don’t have a car because why... should I? I mean, look at the facts.”
Why did delivering packages have to be so hard sometimes? The more she considered it, the more absurd it seemed - especially because nowadays, it seemed less and less customers could just grab their Amazon package ( which it absolutely was not - we’re talking Amazon is actually a HUGE PROXY for the Interdimensional Delivery Company, but that’s neither here nor there. Ssh. Just don’t think about it. ) and go about their merry way.
Maybe it was because she came to the door wearing roller blades and goggles. That was usually how she approached her job ( what better way was there to actually do her job other than blade through it and Subspace? No other way, that’s what. ). Everyone always asked about the roller blades.
And that does mean everyone. Well, sometimes.
“I wear roller blades, for one,” She started, lifting her leg up just so, then placing it back in the snow. “It helps when you’re going through the Subspace Highway; which is not a total secret, by the way. I don’t know why everyone thinks that. But anyway.”
“Owning a car would be a massive headache anyway, regardless of how much I knew about it. Traffic and all that. I’d just be adding to a bigger problem - gotta think about the kids, y’know?”
