It is true. Ever since he killed me, I’ve realized what a special little mech that Bumblebee is. We have actually met in secret in the distant wastelands of Cybertron, where neither of our teams can find us.

NE: How far would you go to get him, Soundwave, back on your side with his alternate and the rest of your crew?

I would have my own Soundwave killed so you could replace him. You’re a much better Soundwave, and I know how much you hate him. How could you refuse then?

NE: Your true thoughts on Starscream?

The truth is I don’t just punish him corporeally as a way of taking out the anger of my own failures out on him, it’s the best way I know to belittle the biggest threat to my position as lord! If the soldiers had a chance to see his true potential as the Seekers of Vos did, why, I would have been executed years ago! So I use brute force alone to take down the only mech intelligent enough to possibly overthrow me.

Despite all this, however, I’ve lusted over Starscream for eons now, and yet he’s never accepted my many advances towards him. This is another reason I get so angry with him. How dare he not give me what I want!!
