If there was one thing that Near knew wasn’t true was that he was a hero. he was simply a man that did what he thought was right at the moment and so when he so generously removed the issue from inside of the store, he didn’t exactly understand why he was getting yelled at. On top of it, he didn’t know why he was getting yelled at by the woman he wanted to protect. The other gentleman that was in was causing some sort of fuss about payment and because Near knew how this game worked he stepped in between them before things escalated. There was a threat made his way about finding him with a gang of other Hydrus members but at this rate, the gang was so large anyone could claim they were Hydrus just to get away with things. He didn’t let that bother him the way the girl at the counter did and he couldn’t keep back the embarrassment as he rubbed the back of his head turned it to the side. He wasn’t sure why he felt shame when all he wanted to do was help. “I--... I didn’t m-mean to--... that wasn't--- ah... my bad.” What could he say in the face of a girl whose pouting face was cuter than the clothes in the store? He’d just bite the bullet on this one and try to politely leave before he frustrated her further. “I-- u-uhm... gonna... go...”

“You talk a lot of shit for someone who doesn’t show their face.” Near muses, raising his metal bat to point at the disguised figure a few feet away from him. A lopsided grin appeared on his face as his head tilted to show off the boyish charm that natuarlly came with his disposition. He made small circles with it as if he was taunting them -- toying with them in the most childish of ways before letting out a laugh and resting the bat over his shoulder. The sun was bright today and when he raised his ring covered fingers to his mouth to lightly prod at his lower lip, the rings gleamed. The glare would cause anyone to flinch away. “Try me.”

Something about that entire comment made his skin physically crawl. The shivers of discomfort forming ridges along his skin and causing the grip on his phone to tighten. He was almost certain that if he didn’t live off that piece of equipment, he would have crushed it in his palm. The mere idea of every becoming the picture that was now viciously attacking the forefront of his mind caused a minimal amount of bile to rise in his throat that he was sure if he didn’t close his eyes to steady his breathing through his nose it would have come out rather ungracefully. His eyes gave an immediate glare towards the unknown. If he was a true being forged from flames, he would have already seared their flesh permanently onto their bones. “Two seconds.” He manages to reply, feeling the neasua seeping up again which only caused him to burp the fumes. “Two seconds before I murder you.”

12. Piggyback your muse to safety after they’ve been hurt.

He had to hand it to Pan, being a sex worker was no easy feat especially when things turned sour. Now, he doesn’t know if the man had any fighting spirit in him since Near had stumbled upon the scene at the last minute. All he knew was that the person surrounding him needed their ass kicked and he was more than ready to dish it out. Near had never been the type to physically get close to others unless it was in a fight, but he had no choice but to piggyback the half-naked man to the closest clinic possible. He would have brought him home if it wasn’t for the whole ‘fuck that’ mentality – which was then diminished when the clinic he had struggled to bring him to was closed due to the riot. “Mother—” Not only was he struggling to get him to safety, but he was also struggling with the idea of feeling the male’s breath against his neck. Eventually, he did manage to get him into his apartment and lay him down on the couch. He was only so nice because Pan was part of Phoenix and he would never let one of his own suffer alone. There were no gashes, but the other had been kicked enough times to have been coughing up blood earlier as he could see it caked to the corner of his lips. He kneeled beside the couch with a glass of water and lightly slapped his face. “Pan. Pan, wake up. What happened?”

13. Bite their tongue while eating.

Word spreads fast when they hear about the personified phoenix bludgeoning people on the side of the street. His strength was astounding for his size and perhaps that had a lot to do with his aggressive mentality and rage when getting into a fight. His fists were heavy and he’d use any blunt object as a weapon against his opponent. Rumor has it that he was able to rip a stop sign out of the cement and whack a few people upside the head with it. He was kind enough to put it back, lopsided, so that the civilians in cars wouldn’t get into an accident. It’s not a wonder why people from other affiliations wouldn’t have somewhat of an eye on him either to recruit or straight out take the challenge. Somehow, that lead to Near eating brisket at an outdoor bqq place with a member of Hydrus. He wasn’t scared of the gang, but he certainly didn’t like nor care for any of them. They were disloyal, greedy, and overall completely insane. They had no integrity and yet the idea of eating his favorite food for free was more than enticing -- he only wanted to talk anyway, right? “You gonna say something or just watch me e---AH FUCK.” He had been too excited and bitten his tongue. He slammed his fist on the table forcing his water to almost tip over.

9.  My muse accidentally locks themselves out of somewhere with your muse.

His shift at LADY FORTUNE was coming to an end as the establishment was slowly removing patrons from within the casino. A long yawn left his mouth as he leaned against the bar with half-open eye-lids and a bored expression on his face. He would assist with the swift guidance of customers out the door, but his feet had been burning for hours now that sitting on this stool with his cheek in his open palm felt better than working. He didn’t know when it happened, but he had fallen asleep on the counter. It wasn’t for very long as he was shoved awake and forced to patrol the casino and all the rooms alone to make sure there was no one left. If it weren’t for the fact that he didn’t want to lose his job, he would have already knocked out the guy that woke him up. He inhaled deeply with expletives running under his breath and a permanent glare locked in his eyes. Everything seemed empty other than a guy trying to get down the off-limits stairwell. “Yo! Party is over. I don’t know what the fuck you’re trying to do, but get the hell out of here. There’s nothing down there for you.”

11. My muse will trip your muse. 

It was late in the evening when Seungho began heaving his clothes into the washer. The laundromat would close in an hour and a half which was more than enough time to get his uniform washed for tomorrow. He stood with his back against one of the unused washers and his arms folded against his chest. The only people in the establishment was him and the one staff member at the counter in case any stragglers needed help or change. The day was starting to come to a close and he could feel it with every yawn filtered out of his mouth. The employee was fast asleep and didn’t stir when another person had walked in. Of course, Seungho was always self-aware, so he didn’t move from his spot and casually kept an eye on the individual. The least he could do was have a little fun before the day was completely over. It was only 9:30pm after all and so when the individual walked by him, he stuck his foot out and tripped him. That should ignite something. ”Whoops…”

5. My muse accidentally punches your muse. && 8. Catches your muse after they’ve stubbed their toe.

These Taekwondo lessons haven’t been going on for long, so whenever Minhyuk was too close for comfort he had to rely on what self-control he had not to strike him as he fixed his posture. This time, however, he was feeling more agitated about things than usual and raised a fist quicker than the serpents of Hydrus could attack. His fist landed square on the older man’s jaw that he wasn’t sure if the crack he heard was from his own fist or the other’s jaw. In any case, he sent a pained glare at him before shaking out his hand. It must have been from his hand as he could feel the pain radiating through his knuckles. When he turned his head to speak directly at him with some poor excuse, he realized the knock back was a little harder than anticipated because shortly after, he was able to watch the male stub his toe on a piece of equipment and with that he couldn’t help but holler out a laugh that would echo in the room. At this point, he wasn’t even angry anymore. “The world wants you dead, Minhyuk Hyung.”
