What if Helluva Boss were an rpg video game where you can create your own character along with having a few companions that could be playable. You get to be a hero, villain, or in between. I haven't thought about romance options.
Oh my that's an idea! I've always thought it'd be cool to have a HB game, and while my most developed idea on it was an Arkham style game where you play as Blitz mainly with tons of sidequests with the wacky cast, I see the appeal of being able to make your ocs as well, not to mention the whole moral choice thing which would seem to make for a very open ended game.
Wanna do the obvious option and work at I.M.P and deal with the shenanigans with them? Or maybe get out of the chaos maybe working for Asmodeus or Mammon at their establishments, maybe go full evil helping out Crimson or Stella, in a world so complex, and with the freedom to choose I feel there would be a lot of options.
One thing I think would spice it up even more would be choice of demon species or origin. Depending on the demon species you choose, you get pros and cons. Imps are the best at stealth and can fit into tight spots and pull off some stuff with their tails, but in most higher class places you'd be considered much more suspicious and possibly attacked on sight.
Goetia's have the opposite problem, while there welcomes by the high class and have a boost to magic skills as well as charisma, in urban city spots there incredibly noticeable and are likely to be attacked by thugs out in the open.
Succubi get a much stronger charisma boost, and maybe Shark demons are considered more intimidating, allowing them to talk to what they want easilly as well. Maybe your species would also endear you to some more easily then other choices. Striker might be much more approachable as an Imp, while he's a lot more aggressive if your a goetia. While Stella and Andrealphus would be the exact opposite.
Maybe you can also make hybrids of the species, getting both pros and cons both being slightly weaker to balance having both. Either way this sounds really cool, Thank you so much for sharing! I'd love to hear your idea as it progresses.
