I think I'm all out of cat stories so you get a different random fact (longtime followers might already know). I had a Furniture Restoration Phase where we'd pick up furniture people left out to be CollectedTM outside of their houses and fix it up and use it. it was mostly a lot of sanding and painting (sometimes acrylics, sometimes spray paint) but also sometimes we'd just clean it up a bit and use it like that AND we did re-upholster our dining chairs. which we should redo sometime soon because The Cat has clawed a hole in two of them by now. hey look it is a cat story after all
#I also fully cleaned up and repainted my grimy ass school deck and then proceeded to dump clothes on it and not use it but it looks really#neat now.#went from a standard brown faux wood thing to being a nice beige with bronze trim around the edges and like. a pearlescent purple#desk surface#it's very princessy.#I disassembled it and spray painted each piece individually except for the purple and bronze which was acrylic paint applied with a brush#that was when covid and my bachelor's degree were happening#and that's what I was doing to stay sane basically. I was also fully off any social media#I didn't even watch youtube for a while#herearedragons speaks
