News flash: it’s ok to eat before you go to bed because your metabolism barely slows down at all. Getting enough sleep (not too little and not too much) will help you speed up your metabolism throughout the day At around 3am, your metabolism speeds back up again, which is why it’s harder to fall back asleep when you wake up in the middle of the night When your body goes into starvation mode, your metabolic rate slows down and your body starts to break down muscle Ergo: IT IS OKAY TO EAT AT NIGHT. Don’t listen to what anyone says if they make you go to sleep hungry (assholes!!! >:c)
