hey i have medibang, and i was wondering if there's a way to update it without having to uninstall and reinstall the program?

Hi, 

You don’t have to uninstall it yourself, the new install will uninstall it on its’ own (the install file you’re opening will ask for confirmation) so you don’t have to do anything to reinstall the new update. It will just install it normally, your brushes and customized stuff are stored separately from the main program. 

If you want to back up your brushes, palettes & materials though, just in case (i always do, just cuz my computer’s kinda flimsy), then you can use medibang paint’s upload feature (under Help>Sync Config) to back them up on your medibang.com account for safe keeping.

After the install, it will ask you to log back into your medibang account tho. Your local brushes and custom stuff will still be on your computer, but it just logs you out when you reinstall it. anyway, I just installed it on my windows 7 and it works fine.
