How close was the DA and Damien? And Does Dark feel guilty for trapping the DA in a mirror?
Damien and the DA were very close. But when they lost their bodies and were forced into the same broken body of the DA, another entity from the manor joined in and pushed the DA out into the mirror and uses the twins as an adhesive to hold the broken body together. I headcanon that the entity is Dark and just uses the souls of the twins to keep his body together.
At first, he didn't care for the DA. He was a demon set on vengeance. He didn't even care about the other egos either, they were just tools to him. But once Wilford moved in, Celine and Damien's personalities rubbed off on Dark, both basically becoming a part of him. Wilford opened a side of him he never thought he had, and he developed a best friend and a change of heart toward the egos.
And nowadays he did feel guilty for trapping the DA. He wanted to badly to let them free... But they were too far gone.
