💐Good morning and HAPPY Spring Equinox from @SisterSongHealing and some of our many, many houseplants over here on Montebello Terrace :) Saturday morning is starting off with some vegan pumpkin pancakes— chocolate chips left out this time so that @finnythepug can enjoy along with us🥞 What’s making you excited to be awake this weekend? And what exactly is #SpringEquinox ?! 🌞The glorious EQUINOX comes from Latin and means “equality of night and day.” So, the equinox occurs at two specific moments in time when the sun is exactly above the equator, making night and day of approximately equal length all over the earth. Here in the Northern Hemisphere, it marks the beginning of spring! This is a powerful time to welcome in the new and clear out what is no longer serving us— stepping out of the hibernation of winter, and opening the windows of our souls to freshness, new beginnings, and a sense of rebirth. 🌷Some beautiful ways to manifest this energy in your physical space: ✨Clean! Whether it be a full-on spring cleaning, or a ceremonial dusting and refreshing of one space for yourself :) ✨Breathwork~ Deep diaphragmatic breathing, imagining the sunlight filling your entire body; on the exhale, make an empowering sound and RELEASE what is no longer serving you. If possible, do this outside while facing the sun! ✨Set some intentions! Spring is all about planting the seeds of what we’d like to create in our lives. Write your intentions down and place them somewhere you will see them every day! When I was searching for a home three years ago, I knew that I didn't want a cookie cutter house. I wanted a home with character and green spaces close by. I found exactly what I was looking for and so much more in #northeastbaltimore . What I didn't know was that I'd connect with so many amazing people! I try to be a good neighbor and contribute to my community as much as possible. It's great to know that so many others are doing the same. Let's keep building bridges!
