Kylin Zhang slung his bag over his black Republic Of Gamers jacket as he melts into the crowd. It was the second day of the global game exhibition held every year in Busan, widely known as the G-STAR; he had been there the previous day, too, if only as a somewhat curious ‘visitor’. There were many games he could try out on the spot, and he felt he needed the short relaxation time.
His rough three-days competition begins today.
Of course, the main reason why Longtu Korea chose him as one of their icons was that of his gaming skills, and for a Chinese-originated mobile game publisher, he was a perfect fit—because not only Qiling unites both nations, he even always managed to put his name on the top 10 rank in the Korean server of Sword and Magic on a weekly basis.
The PVP competition would start in approximately an hour, and he immediately heads towards the registration area, all the while checking the current rank list on his phone.
Fatality — 3rd.
He took a deep breath and accessed the local re-registration website from one of the provided computers, confirming his attendance for the upcoming match.
On the huge screen in the middle of the expo hall, his name turned blue from its previous red hue.
Kylin Zhang (Fatality) - Present.
