Today’s Suikoden II characters is KAAAAAAAHN!!!

...I’ve been waiting a long time to make that joke.

Anyway! Kahn’s pretty cool. He’s a vampire hunter! And Neclord is probably the vampire most worthy of being hunted. It’s Kahn who figures out how to seal Neclord’s soul so he can’t keep making copies of himself. Unlike the others, he treats Sierra with respect--a very smart idea. And he’s pretty nicely dressed, too. Lots of men in Alaska dress that way. I’m sure he’s right at home in the mountains of Tinto.

Best of all, he wants to settle down and start a new life as a mineralogist. How cool is that? I bet he’d love watching Steven Universe, and would come up with all kinds of theories based on the properties of different gems.

Today’s character is Lo Wen!

Oh, God, when will this be over?

I really like Lo Wen’s outfit design. She’s wearing a kimono with poofy pants, and she’s sporting what I call “lazy cleavage.” It’s like, cleavage, but with a lazy look, like, “Hey, yeah, my boobs are out, nbd.” That’s my kind of cleavage. Literally. My kind of cleavage. As in...Never mind.

I love how she basically calls out Neclord for being a gross pervert. I wish more characters did stuff like that.

Yeah, Lo Wen is pretty cool.

Hey, I just thought of something. Is she related to Lo Seng, Lo Fong, and Lo Hak?

Today’s character is Jess!

Ahhh, I like Jess! I like characters like Jess, who are uptight and sticklers for the rules and kind of dickheads sometimes.

What I like about Jess is that his actions had consequences. Because he jumped the gun on attacking Neclord, and because he didn’t trust the New State Army, and because he continued to insist that Riou was responsible for Anabelle’s death, a lot of people were needlessly killed. Afterward, he did the right thing and took responsibility for his actions.

He’s afraid of bugs. That’s cute.

Also, what is with those loud yellow pants? Is he trying to emulate Tir or something?

He’s dressed like he belongs in the 20th century. That’s adorable.
