“ i...suppose that is true. there are two sides to all stories. “ -- Part of them really does believe that there’s just some misunderstanding rooted in their mind, from all the studying, the stories, the first-hand tales of friends whose connections with other dimensions have cost them their lives- but the majority holds even more suspicion over their friend’s features, noticing just how eerily similar some of their traits were to the stories.
All that is left, is the destruction of certain places. Desolate civilizations rendered hopeless by lack of light.
“ i mean- i’ve no clue what your standards of ‘warranting obliteration’ and ‘allowed to survive’ are. i personally would see redeemable qualities in all, but...it’s...i don’t know. “ -- Kami makes the closest approximation of a sigh that a being made of paper can, before speaking once more.
“ i wouldn’t be able to survive with the guilt of even taking the lives of ten, let alone a whole universe. “

Kyurem narrowed their eyes ever so slightly at the strange being. Something was definitely off about them, the way the darkness of their shell-like skin seemed to absorb the light around it and the nonsensical words they spewed.
Whatever their oddities, it’s not like it really mattered. The ice dragon didn’t particularly care about their presence as long as they did nothing to harm them so instead they mulled over their question, thinking best about how to answer it.
“While I am not lacking in… light. I am not complete.” They began, “I am absent in both truth and ideals and fusion is used to fill me with those.”
And while it wasn’t exactly a pressing question to them, they decided to ask anyways.
“I take it that you are capable of fusion as well? What exactly is the nature of your method?”
