“Guys, you’re never going to believe this! I dug out some old journal entries about my friends! I wrote these centuries ago! Check it out! These were my closest companions! I mean, they were the only monsters I eventually allowed to meet Eclipsa and Meteora!”
“TIGRE--This is my best friend (other than you-know-who)! We’ve known each other since we were boys. We have a friendly rivalry that pushes us both to grow stronger. There’s not a single soldier who I trust more than him. He’s my brother-in-arms in every sense of the term. We make a heck of a team, so you’d better hope you never have to cross fists with us!”
“PUMA--Tigre’s younger sister. She was also the first monster to put her faith in me. I’ll be honest, she’s the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet, but uh....she’s really not all that bright. She likes to act as a sort of mother to the other monsters, despite being one of the youngest. She particularly enjoys baking sweet treats for everyone. She’s like a kid sister to me, and I can always count on her to brighten my mood!”
“ANAPHIBIA--A Frog Woman who specializes in making weapons. She’s cutthroat and ruthless, always seeing herself as a predator, and the Mewmans her prey. Despite this, I feel like she’s the closest thing to a mother I have. She’s very protective of her loved ones, so that includes me. Her maternal nature is probably due to the 999 babies she had back home. I don’t know how she does it all....”
“SLIMBO--A Slime Man who I can’t decide if I regret meeting or not. I mean, I like him, but he’s a pretty corrupted dude. He’s always scamming people out of their corn and getting into trouble. I bail him out when I can, ‘cause I’m a sucker like that. Still, he’s a pretty good informative. He always somehow knows what’s going on in Mewni, making him my eyes and ears around the dimension.”
“LLORONA--.....She’s an oddball, I won’t lie. She’s always crying and giving a pessimistic view on life. This wouldn’t be such a big issue if it weren’t for the fact that she’s a nurse. She always expects her patients to die and seems pretty disappointed when they live. The only thing that can perk her up is working with kids, which makes her gloomy persona do a complete 180. She’s definitely a friendly ear though....in fact, she seems eager to hear about the tragedies in your life. Well, maybe once monsters are free, she’ll finally be able to be more cheerful. I mean, really, there’s nowhere to go but up for her!”
“......You know, I never did get to say goodbye to these guys. I hope I get to see them again one day. I really miss them a lot....”
