Idk if they was already asked, I just read through your comic less than a minute ago lol, but do Metal or Sage exist in your forgotten SC au? I wonder how they would feel about his situation. I imagine if they did exist SC would have some complicated feelings about them, seeing as he already had a difficult relationship with his little sister. Even if he accepted that Eggman was like his dad I can’t see him ever accepting them as “siblings”

As you can probably guess I’m loving the comic. Can’t wait to see where this goes!

Sage and Metal do exist in this AU!

Metal serves as a reminder of Sonic. Skylar-Chilii would avoid Metal of their similarities and give them impossible missions in hopes they don’t return or at least stay away for a while. Metal is diligent, stubborn and would always return - haunting SC with that alike-ness to Sonic.

(SC once asked Eggman if he would consider repainting Metal but the doctor refused for obvious reasons).

Metal, on the other hand, is programmed to copy and excel at everything Sonic does. They copy Sonic’s care of SC and do their best to take care of Skylar, putting extra care when completing SC given tasks. In Metal’s eyes they're doing a way better job than Sonic.

Sage's and Skylar-Chilli's relationship is the closest relationship he has ever had. They often have discussions and share their opinions on various matters. Skylar could even regard her as an older sister, though he'd never admit that to himself, not to mention out loud.

Sage enjoys SC's company and his perspective on things. She often offers him guidance and critiques. Sometimes she can be too harsh with her wording and hurt Skylar's feelings. But Skylar-Chilli just chalks it up to the fact that sometimes the things you love hurt you. It's just how it is.
