It’s very fitting that NEDA Month is February, because February ‘12 is when I finally committed to recovery. Four years ago I was at the lowest place in my life. I was denying my body the nourishment and love that it needed, I was participating in harmful habits and behaviors and I wasn’t letting myself be free to be me! After joining CEDC, my life began to turn around. I began feeding myself again- with food and with love. Self love is the most important thing. Without loving yourself, no one else can truly love you. I’m so grateful and happy to say that I’m in love with myself and in love with my girlfriend who is the most supportive person on the planet. Thank you to everyone who gave me love when I couldn’t give it to myself, and thank you for continuing to do so now!
