How about a rarer one: Magnus and Lup just sorta interacting? (Also I spent the last like, two minutes just moving my mouse over your display picture so it would keep making that boop sound effect so A+ blog design work)
lmao I can’t take credit for that, I had a friend do my blog because I’m so bad at tech.
Sorry this one took so long, and sorry it turned less into Magnus and Lup interacting in the deep and meaningful relationship I’m sure they had and more into: Magnus and Lup-how have they not died yet, these two are the most chaotic and powerful friendship.
Lucretia had been wondering why the moonbase had been so quiet all day. Sure, there were still some repairs to be done and some papers to fill out before they were back in operation, but there should still be a few people milling about in the quad or working out in the gym.
Instead, it seemed that everyone was flocking to the cafeteria. Lucretia figured it out easily enough as it was the only place with any real noise coming from it, and that noise was mostly chanting and cheering.
“That’s fifteen, Maggie, think you can top the reigning champ?” Taako said as Lucretia tried to peek around the crowd to see what was going on.
“Mmrrmph!” Magnus’s voice was muffled by something, but Lucretia could tell he was determined.
She finally made her way to the front of the crowd, and found herself developing a sudden migraine as she was faced with a familiar contest that had cropped up many times during the century they had spent adrift in the planar systems of the universe.
The endless contest to see who could fit more macarons in their mouth.
Lup held up two triumphant middle fingers, cheeks bulging with her brother’s famous dessert. Magnus stood in front of her, reaching for a plate of fodder that Taako was holding out for them.
“He’s going to choke and die,” Avi said in disbelief.
Lup shot Taako a meaningful glance and Taako nodded. “I’m receiving a message through twin telepathy: Lup says you can eat her shorts.”
“Mrrmph rmmph!” Magnus growled, forcing two more cookies into his mouth.
“Sixteen!” Taako cheered.
“Please, stop this,” Lucretia sighed. “We all know who the real winner is.”
Taako actually thawed his usual cold look for her. Maybe being around his sister had him on his best behavior, or maybe being in a nostalgic mood had him feeling friendly.
“Who’s that, Lucy?” he asked.
“It’s me, deal me in,” Lucretia gave a wild smirk as the crowd lost their minds.
