What a reminder that Mina's entries in the novel Dracula are because she felt cheeky enough to simply practice stenography and try out a journalistic method for funsies*. This isn't even Mina in her final form!**
*yes yes, to be "useful" to Jonathan when they're married but you can't convince me she isn't using that that as an excuse/opportunity to get really good at a skill she's already enjoying!
**she clearly wants to optimize her own memory capacity, so I think it's fun to fit this into the "Mina is a latent telepath" theory (which I think I've seen @animate-mush talk about?).
