How did the Admin's come out to their families? I am thinking of coming out to my family about being Bi and I could really use some advice ^^;

Hi there, lovely! To start off, I just want to say that it’s never an easy thing to come out to your family. In fact, the idea that you’re thinking of coming out to them means that you’re super brave and awesome. If you don’t want to, you don’t have to. There’s nothing that requires you to do it if you feel as if it will make you unsafe or that you’re afraid! But if you feel as if you do want to go through with it, I will always be here to support you! If you need someone to just be there for you, I’m always available. The most important thing is to come out to your family in an environment that makes you comfortable. You don’t want to do it in a moving car, or in public, or during a large family gathering. It’s best to get who you want to tell in a small group together and very calmly tell them. If the reaction is…not good, make sure you have a backup plan of a friend to go to. When I told my parents, I told my mom and sister separately and told my dad and stepmom together. It was so nerve wracking. I remember being sooo nervous (I came out my Freshman year of high school I think it’s been so long omg). But I was honest and straight up. I looked them in the eyes and told them, “I think I’m bisexual.”My dad and stepmom didn’t care, and neither did my sister. But my mom has problems with it and always has. I have friends and family that love me, though, so I just try and remember that. A few years later, I had to come out as Pansexual again to them and that took a little bit more explaining, but it was worth it. I hope you find this as some help.
