Бог ответил: - Я подарю тебе ангела, который будет ждать тебя и заботиться о тебе. Ребенок задумался, затем сказал снова: - Здесь на Небесах я лишь пою и смеюсь, этого достаточно мне для счастья. Бог ответил: - Твой ангел будет петь и улыбаться для тебя, ты почувствуешь его любовь и будешь счастлив. - О! Но как я пойму его, ведь я не знаю его языка? – спросил ребенок, пристально глядя на Бога. – А что мне делать, если я захочу обратиться к тебе? Бог мягко прикоснулся к детской головке и сказал: - Твой ангел сложит твои руки вместе и научит тебя молиться. Затем ребенок спросил: - Я слышал, что на Земле есть зло. Кто защитит меня? - Твой ангел защитит тебя, даже рискуя собственной жизнью. - Мне будет грустно, так как я не смогу больше видеть тебя… - Твой ангел расскажет тебе обо мне все и покажет путь, как вернуться ко мне. Так что я всегда буду рядом с тобой. В этот момент с Земли стали доноситься голоса; и ребенок в спешке спросил: - Боже, скажи же мне, как зовут моего ангела? - Его имя не имеет значения. “Welcome to the first day of duck school.  I’m gonna make this very easy for you.  You ready?  Okay, quack, quack, ......quack.  Very good, class.  Now go swimming....”, Warren muttered before turning over in Kate’s bed, clutching one of her pillows.  Poor guy crashed hard after one of their movie marathons.

     “ What did you think, Kate? “

     I was so happy to be with Kate again.  It’s been a really hard week for her, and I’ve just been really grateful that I’m able to help.  She’s had some close calls recently, between the bullying and the depression, but she’s been sticking it out, and I’m proud of her.

     I thought it’d be a good idea if we had something we could do every week, y’know, to keep her mind off things.  We decided together to make a book club!  The only members were going to be, of course, us.  We didn’t want any unnecessary negativity present.  I didn’t want anything that could make her think badly.

     This was our first week doing the ‘ Kate & Max: Books Exclusive ‘ book club, and I let her choose the first book we were going to read.  She chose a biography on a man who went from a life of crime to a life of God ( I should’ve known it was gonna be something religious, I don’t mind though ).  Today we were meeting in my room to discuss it, I thought if she chose the book, then we’re gonna do the meeting in my much brighter, happier room.

     “ I thought it was pretty interesting.  It’s crazy to think that the Spirit of God can completely change a man’s life, I mean, he did heroin at one point! “  I examined the simple cover of the book, then looked back at Kate, “ It also had an interesting point of view, it was almost like the bio was written from the perspective of God. “
