"It will be very interesting one day to follow the pattern of our life as it is spread out like a beautiful tapestry. As long as we live here we see only the reverse side of the weaving, and very often the pattern, with its threads running wildly, doesn't seem to make sense. Some day, however, we shall understand.
In looking back over the years we can discover how a red thread goes through the pattern of our life: the Will of God."
--Maria von Trapp

Embroidery kit from September House. It's a cottagecore night.
May I ask about your embroidery?
Thank you! I have been embroidering the same table runner for over 15 years. It is a hummingbird with flowers. I was working on it when I was 11 and the thread got so tangled on me, and I was so angry that I didn’t pick it up again for over a decade. I worked on it again a couple of years ago and was having a lot of fun this time because my hand was much steadier. I had to set it aside for a bit because I was having trouble with the thread again. I haven’t picked it up again for a while, but that was more do to with illness and business.
