Thankful for friends who share recipes and teach us how to create a small piece of home. The recipes passed between us and the time spent sharing knowledge of creation cannot be understated. When we cook we are creating and when it is done with love and gratitude - it almost becomes magical.

the sleepy hare 𖧧

rabbits and hares are my favourite animals, aside from birds, and it breaks my heart to know domesticated rabbits are one of the most neglected and abandoned pet in the UK.

our rescues and sanctuaries are almost always at capacity, so please, adopt, don't shop.

they have very strict herbivore diets, so always having access to good quality timothy hay, plus pesticide-free foraged food that they would eat in the wild, such as dandelions (rescues, like Ivy Dene Rabbit Rescue in the UK, often sell dried foraged foods!)

and they have such unique personalities, no two are the same of course!

*always do your research (not using some a/i nonsense, but reputable sources such as rescues and sanctuaries) before considering bringing a being into your life.

This shirt has clearly lived a very full life.

I’m taking my time with each section, trying to let the reconstruction feel as though it has always belonged here. It brings me such joy to let the history remain written in the stitches and threads, and now the sleeves are beginning their next chapter 🌿
