“I’m wearing a skirt from NeedSupply, boots from Source Unknown, my favorite men’s sweater from Wallace and Barnes that I’ve had for over 10 years, and vest by Filling Pieces that just arrived in the mail that morning! My look is topped off with my Mets cap and my cobalt Telfar both of which, to me, scream I❤️NY. I think of dressing as a way to artfully make references to all the things I love, as if I’m building a wardrobe for the character in my head that day. Most of all, I’m inspired by self expression, which is rampant in NY, thank god! I feel confident that one can pull anything off as long as their style has something to say.”
