Neel was at his side table, filling a low ball glass with a few ice cubes and whiskey. He heard the door open behind him, “Office hours..” He could sense his discomfort and sadness. “Never mind that. Come in.” He picked up hi glass and set it beside his ‘doctors’ chair. “What can I do for you?”

“I mean I know you need therapy, dear.” Neel leaned back in his office chair and steepled his fingers in front of him. “My kind of therapy doesn’t work on our kind.” He crossed his legs in front of him, his elevated foot tapping ever so gently. “But you’re more than welcome to try. And your secrets are safe with me. I won’t tell Gideon which will drive him absolutely bananas which is all the more enjoyable.”
“That is...a new one.” Neel smirked, humans were so bizarre. He slowly got up from his chair. “We’ll have to continue this next week.” He opened the door as his patient got up from the couch, the patient left worse off than they’d come and that was what he did best. The corners of his lips curled ever so slightly before taking the sight of a new client. “Hello, are you my next appointment?”
