He was brought up with a strict dad, someone who expected him to be big and macho and follow in his footsteps. But instead, he liked to draw, and art was always his escape. He was young when he got his first tattoo, a mixture of rebellion and self expression, and then like an addiction he kept getting more. His father yelled, but he started spending less and less time at home, seeing his mother for lunch around time, always making sure she knew he loved her. He's not a mean kid, and there's always dried paint in his hair and he hardly wears a shirt, but he's a little cocky about his art. But he can't afford school, and instead finds a 'live in for free with benefits' arrangement with this young business man in the city, while also apprenticing at a tattoo shop on the side. Sweeping floors isn't the life he imagined, but he calls his mother every day and is making friends, not to mention falling for his "roommate".
