Whenever you feel up for it, would you mind writing conflict between tom and Harry after Tom found him and alex? The topic can be anything but would love to see their relations more
The suggestion was so sudden and ridiculous that Harry let out a laugh - a harsh, ghastly noise that grated even her own ears.
"You think I'd ever let you train Alex?" she asked, smile morphing into a sneer. "You think I'd want someone like you training my son?"
Tom met her scorn with a sharp grin of his own, teething flashing as he stepped into her space. "You forget, sweetheart," he crooned, reaching up to caress her cheek with the back of his knuckles. "I no longer care about what you want. Alexander is mine as much as he's yours. You neglected to teach him, so as his father, the duty now falls to me."
"He's a child," Harry spat, slapping his hand away from her. "He's barely exhibited any signs of accidental magic. What could he possibly need training in?"
"Your genetics at work there, no doubt," Tom replied, petty down to his core.
Harry moved closer to him, stretching herself up to hiss right into his face. "You're the one that married me, Tom. You're the one that fucked me. If my genetics disgust you so much, you should have left me alone. You should have let me walk away."
His hand rose, fingers curling around her throat loosely. Harry didn't even flinch. She arched into it, baring her neck more, daring him.
Tom's eyes darkened. Harry knew her own had as well.
"I don't think there is a single reality out there, Harry, where I would ever let you walk away from me."
