Cappie's going to leave a small bag of cookies here for Mizar, its only because !! Mizar gave him his pot roast! Its totally not because the alien is making eyes at the star child for feeding him.
Izzy chuckles and takes the bag, pulling out a cookie and taking an appreciative bite. The star also notices the fact that the alien is definitely not giving him a look right now. He’s not going to give Cappie a playful little wink of golden hues, either, no way.“Why don’t you come over here and share with me? I’m not going to eat all of these myself.”

Cappie’s just going to squish their face against Volans’ ribcage while shaking their head as they gently gripped the other side of his shirt a little tighter. It didn’t seem like they wanted to let go yet.
{★} - “Oooooookaaaaaayyyy.......” This was getting weird. Volans never heard of cross-species friendships before (not ones with predator/prey anyway) and cetainly didn’t know how to react now. .He kind of awkwardly patted Cappie’s head with his free hand and went back to reading, though more alert now just in case the other decided to... I don’t know... bite him.
