@nefariousinclination has been keeping our two kitties trained to come to him when he whistles. The reward is a freeze-dried chicken chunk.
It works much of the time.
What JUST happened, though, was: after a good half-minute of whistling after our fluffy cat who had just leapt out the window to go roam, my partner just gave up and fed the black cat his treat and THREW THE OTHER TREAT OUT THE WINDOW after the fluffy cat.
I haven’t laughed so hard all day.
