Happy and shocked that this url was available. Still setting the blog up but uuuh expect probably writing and reblogs, maybe some art once I get settled in. I'll put some ships you'll see here in the tags. I ship much more than this so there may be more eventually.

I... don't actually ship this one. I can't really see it ending well. 

• my thoughts:

Rishid is probably the only person I can think of that YamiMa's hate-as-love thing doesn't work for. 

• What makes me happy about them:

I want them to nakama in RPland because we're super AU by now lol it would probably be good for both of them.

• What makes me sad about them:

YamiMa in particular makes me sad because he's so irredeemably fucked up in canon, and Rishid makes me sad because he gets zero happiness. Except for becoming friends with Jyounouchi. But literally everything else that happens to him in the series sucks. Poor bby.

• things done in art/fic that annoys me:

I've never really seen much of them together, actually. Though I'm sure anything where it turned out Super Fluffy Fun Times would kill me.

• things I look for in art/fic:

I look for either of them to stay in character without killing each other for any interaction. 8D;;

• Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: 

I still totally ship RishidxIsis and I guesssss YamiMaxMalik primarily.

• My happily ever after for them:

Probably anything platonic. I'm not sure they could achieve even that in canon, though. :c

• what is their favorite non-sexual activity?

YamiMa likes tasting Rishid's face to make sure he's real. Rishid likes not getting bit.

I used to ship all of the Yamis on their Omotes, so probably... I've got fic from 2003, so probably around then. :D;; It will never see the light of day.

• my thoughts:

God, they're so toxic for each other. But I love that. I really enjoy watching Malik outgrow YamiMa, though, so as a pairing, they rarely work out for me.

• What makes me happy about them:

YamiMa has the most potential for understanding Malik's darker side, and all his weaknesses--which is Awesome for Malik angst. 

• What makes me sad about them:

They'd kill each other. :c

Post-series stuff and AUs. I like seeing the two of them as separate-but-connected.

I don't actually ship YamiMa with many characters. XD; But I love MalikxYuugi and MalikxJyounouchi the most. Like you don't know that.

I want them to function independently while still being close. :c

Fighting. Definitely fighting. About everything. Especially really stupid things.

It was obviously something the Ishtars never really spoke about, Pegasus found, when he was visiting Isis in their Japan home.  It was modest yet a nice size -- for a Japanese house, Pegasus supposed, though he was used to much fancier surroundings.

His conversational chit-chat was going quite well, and he was getting ready to dive right into business (which they both knew was the reason he stopped by) when Rishid, the brother that Pegasus quite liked, stopped into the room to ask if there was anything he could get for them.

As he returned with water for both (distilled, Pegasus prayed), Isis' other brother skulked into the room.  He acted very casual as he threw his arm around Rishid's shoulders and then, to Pegasus' dismay, licked his cheek.

"Just poison him and dump the body," he monotoned and then bit the older man's ear.  Pegasus stared, and he couldn't believe what he had just heard.  Did this brat know who he was?!

But Isis and Rishid acted like they could not see, or hear the boy (who promptly gave up and left the living room).

An hour or so later, after talk about the museum exhibit and Pegasus' professional artwork look-a-likes, the man had to excuse himself to the powder room.  He was still miffed about the younger brother, but all thought of that left at what he saw on his way to the loo -- the spiky-haired brat on top of, well, he supposed another brother (he must've mistakenly heard that there were only three Ishtars), who was batting him away.  "Stop it, I'm trying to build a deck."

He got a kiss instead.

Pegasus rubbed his temples firmly as his personal jet took off.  God help him, if he had a crazy one in his family like that, he'd retcon the family tree, too.
