morning, i got work soon but i had a few melatonin nightmares- one of which was rp related lmfao

my brain created a person who was like, very sex negative and would just whine and vague on the dash instead of like, idk blocking people or using the site/tag filters at all

very much a mockery of bigoted people who act all 'sad', and iirc they were usually wrong about ppl's intentions like the mildest thing would remind them of sex, i think even if the muse like kissed on the cheek without the 'right' description to indicate it was wholesome and platonic

'mary sue/gary stu' is an instant red/yellow flag for me, particularly if I get the impression that the mun involved doesn't know about the misogyny/ageism behind it. It's falling out of favor tho. Language wise, just treating 'self insert' as a synonym for metagaming. 'self inserting too much' is......technically? right? but not really. You don't have to run a self-insert muse to metagame, nor is a self insert muse automatically gonna metagame harmfully. It's, like, a skill. It's literally a practice in either IC-OOC knowledge, and empathy. Also kinda gives the wrong impression about a mun if they happen to Trope their muses in a way you disagree with- they may not actually be like that. (Just like to write that a lot for whatever reason. Not everything is projection lol.)

People also dunk on selfies about 'creativity'....but man, art is free. You want better, better invest in giving accurate critique, lmao. Nobody owes you creativity but like, especially if it's a one-way street.

Right, so to put things into perspective for today and my mood;;

it's my day off and tumblr RP is my #1 priority, albeit I'm tired from the cold/cozy

however i'm irritable today, may lurk with light gaming. not playing anything that's gonna suck me in/take all day.

half of it is hindsight/secondhand dysphoria, but i don't want it to snowball into other shit. I can't really tell if I'm valid to be irritated about some other shit and don't wanna vent in public.

still game for ooc ims on discord or otherwise, but i'm very chill/grumpy

also not in the mood for felix muse to be grumpy IC, because arguing with or ticking off another muse without OOC encouragement/joy is only mere scraps rn. something something bad writing something something morals.
