Finally! The first ever negative emissions power plant is up and running in Hellsheidi, Iceland. The geothermal station uses a “Climeworks module and the plant’s own heat to snatch CO2 directly from the air, bind it to water and send it underground where it mineralises into harmless carbonates.” #eco_nnect #negativeemissions (presso Iceland)
