I read newest chapter of "Love and Gladiators", written by ChickInRed and there was this one sentence which made me draw this:
"His lover was looming over the pink woman, casting her in shadow as she stared down the man they all had called Master."
So I wanted to draw that. Leonardo standing behind April. Tho Leo's arms just didn't work out - and my art looked too empty - so I added Casey and Raph there too! :D And it's WAY better!
Tho it wasn't totally painless to do this. At first I sketched this in SketchBook, wanting to draw this whole art with that program. Well, I screwed it up :'D I tried to finish this art in Krita where I had to redraw this. Lines turned out well but the colors didn't SO I ended up coloring this art in MediBang Paint. Not the best colors, but at least some!
But then I also realized I FORGOT Alb and Negru - and I freaking LOVE them! So I added their heads on the background (art 2)... only to realize I fucked that up too! Like I COULD had draw them there with their bodies but after fucking up this art so many times already I just didn't bother to fix that anymore. I'm so sorry for that, Alb and Negru!
I also apologize how their heads look like. I think they were my first mutant lizards so I don't have much practice about their looks. Tho I want to try to draw them better someday!
I didn't do any gears or paintings on Leo, Raph and Casey either. Looked better without them. And Leo has white eyes simply because he didn't want pupils etc. I tried many times but they always looked so wrong.
I also wanted to do more shadowy version, but considering how much pain this art has caused me already (not to mention not wanting to touch on this in days), I chose not to.
