I rewatched dead poets society last night after like a year and oh my god I forgot how much I adore it

Thinking about Neil and Todd exchanging glances and blushing, acting like no one else noticed them (charlie did) while meeks plays Put Your Head On My Shoulder by Paul Anka.

Modern Anderperry a few years after Welton, owning a small apartment in New York or New Jersey (so Neil can take the train into New York) and they get a cat, who is perfect, loevely, and batshit all at the same time. Todd loves her and spends the most time with her since, Neil often has rehearsals in the evening. Then they also end up recusing a dog, who is just as cute and friendly as their cat.

This leads to multiple night when Neil gets back from a rehearsal and he can’t find anyone in the living room so he goes to the bedroom and there all cuddled up on the bed is Todd and the pets all peacefully asleep and absolutely adorable. (Neil snaps multiple pictures and makes one his lock screen for the week.
