Neil Percival Young OC OM is a Canadian and American singer-songwriter. After embarking on a music career in Winnipeg in the 1960s, Young moved to Los Angeles, joining the folk-rock group Buffalo Springfield.

Non ricordo un altro cantautore che sia riuscito a portarmi cosi' lontano come riesce Neil Young. Con lui si riesce ad andare dentro foreste secolari, a vedere cime di montagne innevate, a guardare dentro gli occhi di gente con le palpebre abbassate. Una musica che fa girovagare anche stando fermi, che fa sentire il freddo addosso anche stando vicino a un camino pieno di ceppi scoppiettanti. Suoni che entrano dentro al petto, contorcono le budella e arrivano al cuore. Neil Young e' paralisi e movimento, solitudine e fermento. Quanto amore echeggia dentro certe note; serve sentimento, serve qualcuno che ti sappia scaldare. Una musica che ti fa sentire nave dentro l'oceano. Si, si.. io sono l'oceano. @ilpianistasultetto
