Verti aka läski :D
Look at my noble looking boy :3
My beloved Minna passed away today with the help of the vet. She was 13 years old. She was fully healthy her whole life, but she recently and suddenly started to cough and have issues with breathing.
Today, at the vet, x-ray showed very bad situation which was complete surprise. Her lungs were in very bad shape and almost invisible, having very tiny health area near the spine. There also was a mass in her chest / stomach which pushed everything towards the spine. Vet said it could be a tumor or either blood mass or liquid mass. Either way there was nothing to do except to let her go.
So I did let her go without hesitation. There was no way I would had make her go through a surgery when there wasn’t even any guarantee it would help and heal her.
I will get her back as a pile of ash in next week in small and cute urn. I will keep her with me as long as I live / find my own house where I can bury her ashes.
Thank you so much for all these years. I love you and I miss you. I know you are in better place <3
Exactly a month ago, on 7th of May, Minna unexpectedly left this physical world and Youtube seems to know this since it’s, on shuffle, playing me just sad songs and I’m crying my eyes out. I still miss her at times, greatly. At times it feels so unreal she’s not with me anymore. At times, during the nights mostly, I’m expecting to hear her little grunt / purr when she jumped to sleep next to my head - put the sound never comes or she appears.
It’s been hard to heal and apparently there’s still some more healing to do.
Verti sleeping currently. I've never seen him hold his paws like that, tho. Right is down, left is up.
