Adult sighthounds are fantastic apartment dogs. They're extremely lazy couch potatos like 80% of the time they're indoors.

I got Marte while I was living in a 1 bedroom apartment, and it worked out great because he's pretty much a couch ornament indoors.

Puppies may need access to free play for a couple of hours a day while they're growing like weeds, so consider that, BUT! If you're sighing wistfully at noodlehounds and have convinced yourself that you don't have room, or can't keep up with their exercise requirements, or something, I encourage you to double check those.

I found an account on Facebook that's uploading animated movies in chunks via lots and lots of reels. "Part 2" "Part 3" etc. Etc.

Guys, it's a revival of The Old Ways.

Can't believe what I'm seeing in the year 2024.

I find it hilarious that after spending some time around silken windhounds last month, my feelings about them were essentially "lovely little dogs, but that's not enough dog."

Because my first thoughts after really taking in how big Marte was when I saw him at the airport in Mexico were "Holy shit that's a lot of dog. What have I done."

Maybe it's because none of the 4 cats I've had in my life ever figured out how to do pillows, and my last family dog stopped using the tiny one we had for him at one point, but I never get tired of watching this guy use pillows like a people.
