The Mistletoe is tempting, but you wonder how a kiss with a man who never removes his helmet would even work. Mal has explained that he needs the helmet, but not the reasons why. With this in mind, you push your magic through the snow under the Nekon’s feet. The slight tilt you give to his footing does the trick perfectly. The muscular man tips over in Lyrrica’s direction and the two of them topple into the piled up snow. Lyrrica lands face up as Mal has the presence of mind to reach around her to brace his fall. The pair land face to face, practically in a pre-kiss embrace. You’re glad nobody’s looking your way, because you know you have a super smug smile of satisfaction over this.
Lyrrica lets out a little gasp and freezes in place as her breath mists the faceplate of Mal’s bucket helm. Mal likewise pauses at the sudden proximity, at least long enough for you to mentally confirm that he doesn’t think of Lyrrica as just another member of the party. The two of them share a long moment. Before Lyrrica’s blushing face seems to notice that they have an audience. Her darting eyes take in Rip’s easygoing smile, Iitria’s blushing face showing more interest than usual, and your own knowing smile.
Lyrrica’s face reddens up enough you’re actually surprised that you don’t see any steam from the snow. Maybe your friend needs a little more help?
