So should users treat this more akin to Tumblr, or amino? In that is it like a space of your own where you can see your space (all the people you follow and curate for your timeline) and can look into communities , or more focused on being a part of a community with your own space in each one?

You have your own blog(s), and you can also join and post to multiple communities. Similar to LiveJournal in that respect.

Hey Guys!

My friend (and son) Nekyua is currently living in Japan for school, but he’s having a hard time. A good deal of things have happened making money a grand issue for him. The good news is that he not only does he have an art blog (and does commissions~) but he also has a patreon! He does AMAZING art work, you should check his work out here as well as his blog!

The reason I’m promoting him is, not only is he my amazing son and great friend, but because of conditions at school and being in another country, he’s been losing the motivation for art and that makes me really sad because he’s so very talented. It’s something he puts his heart and soul into and is very dedicated to it. If you’ve been looking to commission someone lately, especially in the nsfw section, please go check out his commission page here and consider Nekyua as an option! I would really love for him to get some commissions, not only to help support him financially, but also to encourage him to continue with his art. Unfortunately, school life in Japan does not leave him much time to do art in the first place and thus is one of the reasons motivation for him is down. But I know it would really mean a lot to him~

Even if you don’t have anything you want to commission, consider becoming a patron for him to support him living in Japan and continuing his passion for art. It would mean a lot to me for you guys to at least go check out his blog and art. He’s also working on a comic that you guys should check out~
