#50: 5 Random Facts About Myself
I was asked #50, and thought about answering these privately since they were sent via fan mail, but since I gained some new followers and I think kittykittyhunter tagged me in something like this ages ago, why not post it, right?
Ugo has been my favourite character in Magi from the very moment I saw him first appear from his flute when the anime aired like...2-3 years ago? He and his first scene and overall relationship with Aladdin is my most favourite thing in Magi (among many many others, by now) and was actually the main reason I picked up the manga and started and kept reading Magi and I don't regret a thing. At first I thought it was just a fun adventure story but it turned into something splendid - even without him making a lot of appearances as the story progressed.
I'm not into shipping of any kind...? I'm not absolutely averse to it and can enjoy the thought or display of ships; but for my personal taste there's too much focus on romance and sex in almost anything, it can get tiring for me. I'd like to see more focus on a variety of non-romantic non-sexual types of relationships.
I used to be a writer! That was long, long, long ago (possibly before some of you were even born haha). I've written fanfiction from before I was ten and actually wanted to become an author. I've actually been wanting to write something again, but I'm out of the loop and a bit afraid of making a fool of myself/too perfectionist to really get my writing hand going again as of yet. I slowly but steadily continued drawing though.
Apparently my personality and body/looks don't mix, or at least aren't a combination people would expect. Yeah, that's a weird one, can't really explain it either.
I love winter. I love snow, ice, crisp cold dry air, the darkness winter brings and with it the long starry nights, the candles and lanterns, christmas cookies (which is about the only christmas confection I really like, ironically) and having Christmas, my Birthday and New Year's celebration in one week.
