Over this last year, it’s been really exciting to see you take Heroic Shenanigans -- this nugget of an idea, the pilot chapter -- grab it by the cape and friggin’ RUN WITH IT. Not only that, but you’ve balanced comic-making with fanart-making, prints, con-tabling, art-teaching, and pup-wrangling. If I didn’t know better, I’d think you had an illicit Time-Turner...

Ah, so DC is a fan of the Zenithal Zephyr? I think she and Henry would get along!
Also, your inky work is fantastic as always! I like just the few bits of color. This is probably the least colorful I’ve ever seen DC, but her personality still shines through. Truth be told, I wish I’d been a little more like her too!
If the Kingstown and Camp Kapow universes did cross over, I bet DC and Henry would be the first to make a Zenithal Zephyr fan club!
And thanks for the lovely comment -- I don’t do selective color very often (must... color ... EVERYTHING!), but it’s fun to try to restrict myself a little sometimes. And I’m glad that even with the different media, DC still looks like DC!

I tried out some speed drawing / painting a couple weeks ago. I wasn’t terribly impressed with how fast I was (about 1 - 1.5 hours each), but it was a fun experiment. I played some more with inking and watercolor pencils!
